There are two main visa categories in the US immigration system.
Immigrant visas (IV ) and non-immigrant visa (NIV). Individuals who wish to immigrate to the USA and reside in that country permanently apply for immigrant visas.  Immigrant visas can be based on employment or family sponsorship.

US Waivers
